“A Star Still Shines” is the long-awaited Christmas recording from the Glenn Mohr Chorale. In addition to familiar classics such as “Silent Night”, “I Heard the Bells”, and “The First Noel”, also included are original Glenn Mohr compositions that have become favorites of the Chorale and our audiences alike, including “A Wiseman’s Carol” and “The Days After Christmas.”  Our annual holiday production, “Christmas in Heaven” is well represented by the title song and “Everybody Has a Guardian Angel”, “The Window Carol” and “Looks Like Christmastime is Here”.
Finally, the beauty and wonder of Christmas is no better experienced than through the eyes of a child. For this reason, we have assembled the “Cherub Chorus” to join us on this recording. These youngsters are the children, grandchildren and friends of our Chorale members: the second generation waiting in the “wings.” Their joy, innocence and enthusiasm bring a fresh outlook and new meaning to this music in their own spontaneous and unaffected way.
